Job Summary:

Responsible for providing high-end customer service and store support, our Retail Management staff are knowledgeable representatives of our brand and culture inside our retail stores ready to assist with any of our customer’s questions and provide premium product.
This store manager is responsible for merchandising, store appearance, financial management, sales generation and growth, inventory control, controllable expenses, loss prevention, sales staff supervision hiring, training, coaching/discipline and scheduling of store personnel. The store manager oversees Kirkwood Mountain Sports, the main retail store in the Kirkwood Village, that specializes in ski/snowboard outerwear, snow-sport accessories, ski and snowboard hardgoods, custom boot-fitting and other retail items.

Job Responsibilities:
Generate sales, and demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service Evaluate sales trends and create methods for sales growth Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals Role model and administer company policies and guidelines Recruit, hire, train, coach, and maintain a quality core staff Enforce company cash handling policies and procedures, and other loss prevention policies Provide training resources in POS, product knowledge, guest service, resort information, and sales Conduct performance appraisals for and coach development of staff on a regular basis Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards Communicate ideas or issues with the Regional Manager Manage operational budget Remain current on new industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent Work Experience: 3 years of retail experience Supervisory Experience: 2 years of management experience Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook Language(s) Skill: English fluency Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced sales environment Knowledgeable of customer service and sales techniques Organization and planning skills Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment Team-building skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
The expected pay range is $66,560 - 70,000 + Annual Bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
