Compensation Range: $20-$21hr. based upon experience. Additional performance-based incentives are also eligible for this role.

We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Store Manager in Training to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop their retail skills and grow their career in a dynamic retail environment. Candidates will participate in Monro's 5-week Store Manager Training and Onboarding Program. The onboarding and training program will help you to:

Oversee daily operations and ensure excellent customer serviceImplement company policies, procedures, and best practicesLead and motivate store teammates, including training, scheduling, and drive productivityContribute to inventory management, including inventory control, proper ordering, receiving, and loss prevention.Assist in meeting sales targets and implementing promotional strategiesEnsure store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standardsHandle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficientlySupport cash management procedures and accurate financial reportingParticipate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance management skillsDrive store success by fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.Leverage data and insights to implement innovative strategies that boost sales and enhance the guest experience.Be a role mode of operational excellence, ensuring the store runs smoothly and meets all company standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in retail or a related industry; previous supervisory or management experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred.Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiencesProficiency in sales techniques and ability to meet sales targetsExperience with inventory management and loss prevention strategiesExcellent cash handling skills and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systemsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and communication purposesStrong leadership and team-building abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
