ROLE OVERVIEW

Plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the store. Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, increase profitability, create store policies and marketing programs that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base. Maintain high store standards and conditions and foster a positive environment.

Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability. Forecast staffing needs and develop a recruiting strategy to provide optimal staffing in all areas.  Collaborate with People & Culture to develop staff and ensure that career pathing remains scheduled.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Motivate and inspire the team by delivering a compelling vision and purpose which encompasses the Company’s core values Achieve sales plans through business analysis, effective planning and managing the controllable components of the Profit & Loss (P&L) Statement to achieve all store financial and expense targets Execute the store business plan to drive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results and maximize business opportunities Maximize store volume and profits through excellent staffing, superb customer service, operational excellence, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Analyze reporting and daily sales trends to make real-time strategic business decisions to drive results  Ensure store goals are supported and achieved by the correct use of all resources and communication channels Recognize and properly resolve issues communicating in a timely manner to the District Manager and collaborate to develop a plan for resolutions Lead talent selection, training, coaching, engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives for the retail team Build and support effective relationships with associates, peers, and supervisors to effectively lead positive change Supervise the efficient and productive handling of all merchandise including shipment receipt and processing, floor sets, markdown optimization and replenishment systems while maintaining backroom Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Lead and model the brand and customer service standards Train and coach team members on effective sales techniques and product knowledge to improve their performance | support the growth of your team, and to increase sales. Lead by example, take ownership of your development, assess your performance, and actively seek feedback, resources, and opportunities to improve and elevate your skills, knowledge and abilities

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of three years of experience in retail management in fashion apparel Knowledge of retail store performance KPIs with a keen awareness of local market Excellent computer skills, documentation, and communication English, additional language(s) an advantage  Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business BENEFITS Employee Discount Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage 401k Match Fun and friendly culture
