Job Title: Store Technology Labs QA Lead

Job Summary:  The Store Technology Labs QA Lead manages the different stages of store technology testing on an ongoing basis in support of Wawa’s business objective. Ensures development of solutions and execution of services meet service level agreements.  Creates and manages SOPs across different technology disciplines.  Works cross functionally with technology teams to develop and maintain new product testing documentation. This role is critical in ensuring standardization across the team and monitoring SLAs to ensure that technology testing is executed per set standards. Leads technical and business resources to ensure results conform to quality and time stipulations.  The Store Technology Labs QA Lead oversees and manages a dynamic team responsible for testing hardware and software across multiple physical labs and is responsible for configuring hardware and maintenance of 20+ labs.

Principal Duties:Lead and manage a team of QA testers in executing test plans, strategies, and methodologies across various hardware and software configurations.Oversee the setup, maintenance and configuration of 20+ physical labs, ensuring they meet current testing requirements and standards. Manage the scheduling and allocation of resources for 20+ labs, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.  Ensure that resources are balanced sufficiently to maintain service levels and delivery.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey testing status, risks and potential impacts on project timelines.Develop and implement testing procedures, standards, and protocols for both hardware and software testing. Assist the Manager with the development and implementation of long-term plans for team efficiency and effectiveness as it relates it relates to the QA Labs.  Assist with building short/long term resource plans based on store growth and business initiatives.Create metrics that identify the key measures related to hardware and software testing that ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of results.  Generate comprehensive reports on test results, defects and performance metrics to stakeholders.Oversee the hands-on testing of hardware and software, identify defects, and manage the resolution process.  Provide mentorship, guidance and training to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.Support team members as an escalation path.  Provide second level team support prior to escalating beyond team.  Investigate reoccurring high impact issues by preforming root cause analysis to come to long-term resolution. Continuously optimize testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Assist in the development of technical, business and economic feasibility assessments for new initiatives. Provide analysis and metrics on project status as well as support and operational functions.Conduct inventory and asset management of all lab equipment. Provide vision concerning process improvements and supports operational functions to ensure they are consistent, efficient, and current.Meet with internal teams to keep current on industry trends, gather information about upcoming projects and IT team availability.Committed to maintaining a consistently improving level of customer service.Functions as a technical, support, operational and functional resource.

Basic Qualifications:

Certification in Quality Assurance or related field is a plusExperience in automated testing tools + frameworksFamiliar with Agile methodologies and project management tools5+ years’ experience in QA testing with a focus on both hardware and software  Premier organization, time, and stress management skillsStrong working skills on Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience working with a ITSM ticketing toolFamiliar with Microsoft Operating systemsMust maintain a valid driver’s license and car insurance
