Burlington is looking for a Store Planner (Remodels & Downsizes) to play a key role in shaping our store footprint. In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed Store Planning documents to support our new store projects. From documentation and production to communication and quality control, you will oversee every aspect of assigned projects, ensuring seamless execution.

 

You’ll collaborate closely with both internal and external teams, driving projects forward with precision and efficiency. With a deep understanding of Store Planning processes, you’ll help optimize department productivity while making a meaningful individual impact. A Day in the Life:

Project DevelopmentDevelop and produce Store Planning conceptual plans, construction documents, interior planning documents, demonstrating proficient use of AutoCAD.  Experience using xrefs required. Make scope of work decisions for each project based on location specific requirements and budget guidelines. Partner with supervisor for non-prototypical situations Understand all planning processes & standards. Stay up to date on the latest Prototype, Innovation & Merchandising initiatives and ensure all documents are in compliance

 

Project Administration Oversee each project from inception to completion; Maintain quality control and communication through all phases of the project. Trouble-shoot & respond swiftly to RFIs and manage change orders as needed.  Manage multiple projects at once & prioritize workload effectively Log & maintain store specific data in company database to share and preserve company records Develop and maintain partnerships, communication and coordination with Burlington's cross-functional departments and outside architects.  Communicate changes that may affect production schedules

 

You’ll Come With:

3-4 years Store Planning/Design Preferred Merchandising/Retail Experience preferred Auto CAD proficiency required Microsoft Office proficiency required Microsoft Project proficiency preferredBluebeam proficiency preferred Education: 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experiencePhysical requirements: Sitting at workstation, reviewing plans. Occasional travel as needed.
