We are looking for an Store Room Clerk for our Baltimore, Maryland facility.
In your role as Store Room Clerk, you will:
Receive, maintain, and distribute railroad materials and inventory.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
Receive, store, stock, issue, maintain and distribute railroad materials and inventory
Perform cycle counting activities
Operate material handling equipment and forklift
Complete various office duties including electronic data processing, filing and record keeping
Deliver and pick up materials utilizing a Commercial Motor Vehicle to multiple sites
Minimum Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience performing shipping and receiving activities in a warehouse environment
At least 1 year experience performing inventory cycle counting activities
High School Diploma/GED
Valid Driver's License
Type 35 average net words per minute
Proficient in MS Office

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Demonstrate auditory and visual acuity

Climb ladders
Able to pass a Department of Transportation medical physical
Sit for prolong periods of time
Operate a commercial motor vehicle

Wear personal protective equipment such as hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses and vest
Work hours may include a nonstandard workweek, overtime, and various shift work
Complete annual safety testing requirements
Must pass all required assessments
Must pass a background screening
Must pass and maintain a Commercial Motor Vehicle physical
Must pass a post-offer medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing
This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement, membership is required
Active employees must complete one year in current position or craft before applying for positions
