Store Strategic Projects Specialist
About the Job The Store Strategic Projects Specialist plays a key role in identifying, evaluating, and implementing strategic initiatives and operational improvements for our store fleet. This role assists with the execution of initiatives by sourcing information on key strategies from various business partners, creating dynamic PowerPoint presentations, and managing team meeting schedules. The Store Strategic Projects Specialist is proactive in troubleshooting and finding resolutions, thinking ahead and anticipating what’s next. This role requires a high level of organization and time management, as well as creative talent. This role is a hybrid office role based in our corporate office in Dublin, California, and reporting to the Senior Manager, Stores Strategic Projects. What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities Develop and manage schedules for seasonal project deliverables, annual strategy meetings, office and off-site meetings, trainings, and events. Collaborate with Senior Manager to assess seasonal and quarterly performance of strategic initiatives to determine new opportunities that align with the company's overarching goals and objectives. Monitor project and initiative progress, identify bottlenecks, and apply strategies to keep the work on track to meet deadlines. Utilize a strategic approach in coordinating and scheduling meetings, including preparing agendas, recording notes and distributing materials for various departmental meetings. Engage with field and operations stakeholders, each with their unique perspectives and goals, to identify priorities and formulate tailored strategies that effectively address their needs. Develop comprehensive strategic plans aimed at capitalizing on identified opportunities, this includes evaluating the organization's existing capabilities and resources to determine how best to leverage them. Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Create and produce executive-level PowerPoint and graphic presentations that summarize key insights and recommendations through engaging storytelling for the leadership team. What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Consumer Science, Merchandising, or similar field required 3+ years of relevant professional work experience in Retail Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), advanced skills in PowerPoint; virtual collaboration tools Experience with graphic design/Adobe Creative Suite/Canva a plus Ability to independently analyze data, identify opportunities, and effectively communicate them to an executive and senior level audience Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with a sense of urgency, confidentiality, and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information. Demonstrated ability to calmly manage interruptions and changing priorities; complete assignments with or without established procedures; and be available and dependable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
