**Overview**
Meets customer service needs by receiving, stocking, counting and distributing supplies and equipment to customer locations throughout the assigned facility. Accesses information and enters data on various computer systems used for managing supplies and equipment
**Responsibilities Job Description**
+ Issues (dispenses) supplies to customers
+ Takes inventory of customer par-stock locations and/or exchange carts and initiates requisitions for supplies needed to restock the locations Initiates requisitions for supplies needed to restock the locations
+ Delivers patient equipment in response to requests from customers
+ Responds to customer requests in a timely and appropriate manner
+ Handles materials properly to prevent damage. Participates in scheduled physical inventories of the storeroom
+ Perform data entry related to Stores & Distribution activities on the Materials Management Information System (MMIS)
+ Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner
+ Manages and organizes assigned duties. Understands the security requirements of medications and IV solutions
+ Delivers and puts away supplies (both stock and non-stock) in customer locations according to established procedures
+ Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards
+ Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements
+ Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned
**Qualifications**
+ High school graduate or equivalent preferred
+ 1 to 3 years experience preferred
+ Prefer experience in receiving, storeroom, warehouse or distribution of medical, surgical or related supplies
+ prioritizing; putting things together in an orderly and functional whole
+ Problem Solving: Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information
+ Utilizes appropriate tools and staff resources along with sound judgment to generate and alternatives, and to make recommendations
**Other Required Skills:**
+ Computer Skills Basic: Ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (navigate in Windows, Outlook, etc)
+ Interpersonal Communication: Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co-workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection Issues (dispenses) supplies to customers
