**Job Title: Storeroom Attendant** **Location:** Magna, UT **Type:** Direct Hire – Permanent Position **Shift:** 12-hour rotating shifts with built-in overtime **Pay Rate:** $22-24/hr, depending on experience **Job Overview:** Adecco is assisting a local client in their search for a Storeroom Attendant. This position offers an opportunity to support efficient operations through inventory management, equipment maintenance, and exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Inventory Management:** Maintain inventory of essential items such as cleaning supplies, respirators, and calibration gases to ensure seamless operations. + **Employee Assistance:** Support team members by facilitating the efficient check-in and check-out of inventory. + **Equipment Maintenance:** Perform monthly calibrations and sensor changes for the gas monitor fleet to ensure functionality. + **Record Keeping:** Maintain detailed and accurate records for calibrations, repairs, PPE usage, and procurement activities. + **Procurement Activities:** + Manage stock and non-stock purchases to meet customer demand. + Expedite or de-expedite orders as needed for optimal delivery. + Research and recommend vendors and items that meet customer standards for quality, pricing, and delivery. + **Vendor Relations:** + Monitor vendor performance and product quality. + Address delivery and quality issues and ensure the timely return or replacement of damaged goods. + Resolve account payable discrepancies with suppliers. + **Customer Cost Savings:** Identify and document opportunities to reduce costs for the customer. **Job Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + 2-3 years of experience in customer service, procurement, or inventory management. + Proficiency in MS Office products and ability to learn Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Inventory Management applications. + Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Work Environment & Physical Demands:** + Work may involve exposure to manufacturing environments with dirt, smoke, heat, or cold. + Safety equipment such as hand, foot, and eye protection may be required based on customer protocols. + Long periods of computer work with repetitive tasks. + Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. + Overtime may be required with little notice.
