The Storeroom Clerk, under the supervision of the Storeroom Supervisor, is responsible for receiving and filling departmental orders for stock items inventoried in the Storeroom.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Fills routine and emergency orders and delivers to appropriate department.Stocks shelves and rotates stock items, taking note of any listed expiration dates so as to keep all products current and up-to-date.Assists Inventory Control Clerk by noting stock items that are approaching the reorder point.Assists Receiving Clerk in keeping Warehouse/Storeroom clean and safe.Assists Receiving Clerk in properly receiving merchandise.Responsible for maintaining par-level assigned on Nursing Units.Responsible for labeling supplies received before putting on shelf.Responsible for maintaining supplies in the Omnicell cabinet.Could be assigned to work as a Courier as needed.Must handle sterile supplies with care to maintain sterility.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
