KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the manufacture of consumer foods which comply with all food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.Understands and supports company and site safety policies and performs work related activities in a safe manner. Recognizes unsafe work conditions, coaches peers, and suggests new safety standards as appropriateManages parts counter, locates, and checks out parts.Assists customers in finding partsProvide assistance to technicians, coordinators, and technical leadersEnsures all parts are checked out accurately and have associated work orders when neededFollows and enforces storeroom processes to optimize spare part inventoryReceives daily deliveries, ensures delivery accuracy, enters receipts into ERP software, labels and puts away replenishment partsProcesses parts returned to the storeroomIdentifies inventory inaccuracies, can troubleshoot, and resolveIdentifies high risk part outages and escalates as appropriateAssist customers in obtaining emergency partsManages storeroom locations and transfers item locations as neededUpdate part lead times in ERP softwareIdentifies part description discrepancies, can troubleshoot, and resolve (e.g., Multiple part numbers for same part, multiple parts for same part number, etc.)Maintains spare parts database by updating incorrect item descriptions, part numbers, etc.Follows up on delivery dates for outstanding purchase ordersRuns parts reservation reports and kits parts to work orders for upcoming planned workCompletes weekly cycle countsRuns inventory reportsMove large parts and pallets with a forklift – will need to become forklift certifiedConducts daily housekeeping procedures in the storeroom and maintain 5S areas to standardOther duties as assignedSELECTION CRITERIA
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience/Qualifications
A minimum of 2-3 years related storeroom experience requiredA minimum of 2-3 years’ experience with computerized inventory management software requiredA minimum of 2-3 years inventory management experience requiredA minimum of 1 year working with parts management requiredExperience in working with industrial equipment parts preferredExperience working in a large storeroom (over 2500 parts) preferredOther
Willing to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed. This position is a permanent support role and not eligible for level increases through pay and progression.

Employees will be given a 3-day time period to accept the role.
