GENERAL PURPOSE:  Maintain accurate storeroom inventory.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Maintains Storeroom Inventory (Adjusts Max and Min Stocking Levels for Parts by Running Re-Order Point and Reviewing Historical Data)Identify Obsolete Parts in StoreroomMaintain Prints and Parts BooksRead Prints and Parts Books to Identify Needed PartsTrack Order StatusesJDEPerforms Weekly Cycle Counts in StoreroomKits / Parts from Work Orders in Preparation for Maintenance WorkResearch and Cross Reference Parts for Cost and AvailabilityPerforms and Maintains 5s on Storeroom and ShopWork with Outside and In House Resources to Identify and Order Parts, Supplies, and   ToolsAdd New Parts and Assess Criticality of these PartsBe Available to Off Shifts for Parts AssistanceAny task deemed necessary by the supervisorEnsures all purchasing functions follow established Internal Control Policies and ProceduresKeep accurate financial records and reporting to plant managementROP generationROP/ROQ changesShipping/receiving of parts/chain of custodyNavigating CPRO/SOP’sManaging VMI, safety, and etc.Managing budgetAVM/RNVRestockIntegrityLocation changes/Return to stock/stale inventory.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Work with and without direction to complete tasks and insure no interruption of production flow

Experience with JDE

Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.Must be able to understand and communicate in English.Must be able to pass a basic reading test.Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition and subtraction. Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.Must be able to maintain good attendance.Must be able to identify quality issues.Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
