**Position Summary:**
Receives stores and issues supplies for both departmental use and patient charge items, takes inventory, and performs mail room functions.
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities:**
* Receives all goods, delivered by common carrier.
* Ascertains condition of incoming supplies, and notes discrepancies or damaged goods.
* Restocks storeroom shelves.
* Carries or uses high low to convey items from dock area to proper location.
* Keeps storeroom supervisor informed of needed supplies.
* Generate pick list, issue supplies, receives purchase orders on Paragon System.
* Inventory counts as needed.
* Takes items from stock or special order goods to fill requisitions and delivers goods to requesting departments.
* Makes scheduled and unscheduled deliveries to specific departments and/or nursing stations.
* Keeps the stores dock area clean and orderly at all times by sweeping the area and removing all cartons and boxes daily.
* Tags all capital equipment as received.
* Performs duties as shipping and receiving clerk.
* Makes deliveries to all MCM Subsidiaries using hospital vehicle.
* Pickup needed supplies at local stores/Hospitals as needed.
* Maintains supply carts for nursing units.
* Performs duties as mail clerk and copy machine key operator.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
_Required:_
* High school graduate or equivalent.
* Stockroom experience with medical supply knowledge required.
* Must have forklift knowledge.
* Must have basic computer knowledge.
* Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license
