SUMMARY: Receive; supervise and issue all parts related to the stock room, in addition this position, will be responsible for assisting maintenance in basic tasks as assigned.
Crucial duties and responsibilities:Work with all departments to meet or surpass the plant’s safety goals. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintains Food Safety Awareness. Able to develop a proven understanding of Internet software, SAP inventory software, Smart Kart, iPaysmart, SAP Ordering Process systems, Internet Research Capability, and other Material Management Software Tracks and documents all applicable “Key Performance Indicators” Leads in adding parts, evaluate and modify the min/max levels to meet the plant equipment maintenance needs. This includes the ordering, procurement, receipt, storage and stocking of spare parts and components. Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Technicians in set up, scheduling and planning in all maintenance and repairs parts requirements. Coordinate daily and weekly storeroom work to ensure maximum equipment uptime. Support the direction of the maintenance of physical assets of the plant to insure continued operation and attainment of line efficiency, yields and costs via parts delivery techniques. Support improvements in asset efficiency. Actively participate in receiving and installation of all production equipment, ensuring that accurate parts are stocked for new equipment. Ability to research manuals to resolve type and specifications of parts. Lead contact for vendors, responsible for ordering, expediting, parts improvement or substitution. Communicates via email, SAP, Phone, Face to face, etc. Compares invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received. Deletes obsolete parts and identifies alternate least cost vendor vs. OEM purchases. Stores purchased parts in storeroom bins, and handle cycle counting process. Keeps records of parts received and issued, and inventories parts as required by SAP. Trains end users in SAP parts checkout, work order creation and other SAP functions. Implements and supervises parts checkout procedures for all shifts. Leads and advises vendor parts management programs. Implement all standard operating procedures required for Storeroom Coordinator as outlined by Maintenance Manager. All other duties assigned. Trains new storeroom clerk/clerks
This position also has accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Winchester Kraft Heinz QRMP accountability document.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: In addition to the capabilities above a good candidate will possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi task, a basic understanding of mechanic parts and how they work.
WORKING CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Personal Protective Equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to wear appropriate company-issued safety and GMP equipment, including: steel toe shoes that are also slip resistant, hearing protection, bump cap, and other personal protective equipment.
