Job Title: Storm Water Design EngineerJob Description We are seeking a skilled Storm Water Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for site investigation and due diligence, designing stormwater management and conveyance systems, and preparing comprehensive development guidelines and due diligence reports. You will work on a variety of civil infrastructure projects, including site planning, roads, drainage, grading, earthworks, and more. This position requires proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology modeling software. Responsibilities + Conduct site investigation and due diligence, including reviewing ordinances, utility service research, agency regulations, and site visits. + Design stormwater management and conveyance systems using hydrology design software. + Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for land development projects. + Design civil infrastructure, including site planning, roads, drainage, grading, earthworks, containments, deep excavations, ponds, and erosion and sedimentation control systems. + Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analysis and watershed modeling using PC SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and other software. + Develop and prepare reports, planning studies, specifications, design drawings, and construction submittal reviews. + Collaborate with a team of civil engineers and work independently with minimal supervision. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD. + Experience with hydrology modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and SWMM. + Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. + At least 5 years of experience in stormwater and civil 3D design. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong organizational skills and problem-solving aptitude. + Demonstrates accountability, commitment, and a positive work attitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications + EIT or PE engineer certification is preferred but not mandatory. + Experience with data center, commercial, or industrial projects is a plus. Work Environment This is a remote position open to candidates with the right experience. The majority of our engineers work remotely. You will be partnering with a team of three civil engineers. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
