Freese and Nichols is seeking a Stormwater Project Engineer add to our group in the Lubbock, Texas office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria; to use own judgment in making adaptations and modifications to standard procedures, and to complete the necessary requirements for professional registration. Applicant must be willing to interface with clients and develop strong working relationships through project interaction. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)3+ years of relevant experience in water resources engineering Experience with the design or analysis of drainage infrastructure Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design software as follows: ICPR, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office Suite. HEC-RAS 2D, XP-SWMM, Infoworks, AutoCAD, Civil3D and/or Microstation is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills PE License in the state of TexasPreferred:
