As the Strategic Account Director at Sodexo, supporting our prestigious AstraZeneca account, you’ll lead a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality facilities services across multiple UK sites in Macclesfield & Cambridge

In this role, you will champion Sodexo’s values and a commitment to innovation by overseeing the performance of the UK team, enhancing quality and safety standards, and supporting our Vested contract model.

You’ll build collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, work closely with technical experts, and drive continuous improvement in compliance and service delivery.

What you'll do:

Lead and inspire the operational team to consistently meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contractual commitments.Ensure safety, compliance, and audit readiness across all facilities, managing both Hard and Soft FM services.Drive client satisfaction by fostering strong, long-term relationships and identifying new business opportunities.Oversee financial performance, ensuring effective budget management and productivity improvements.Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to enhance financial and operational performance.Act as a visible leader on-site, supporting both clients and team members in delivering service excellence.

What you bring:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Building, or Building Services.Experience of working in/with pharmaceutical organisationsProven experience managing P&L accounts of £10m+ and leading multi-site, multi-service operations.Expertise in CAFM, compliance management, and technical knowledge across Hard and Soft FM services.Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse teams and clients.A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
