About the Role: Strategic Account Manager – Japan Job Summary As a High-Touch Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving new logo revenue within the SME market. This customer-centric and solution-oriented position requires close collaboration with channel partners, distribution networks, new prospects, and existing clients. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the overall account lead for end users in your assigned geographic territory. By understanding clients’ key business needs, challenges, and requirements, you’ll create value both for them and for Arcserve.
Responsibilities:
Achieve Sales Quotas:
Consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within your assigned territory.Articulate the Arcserve Value Proposition:Demonstrate a deep understanding of Arcserve’s value proposition and effectively communicate it to potential clients.Build and nurture a robust sales pipeline.New Business Development:
Generate new business opportunities within your territory.Prospect Engagement:
Utilize Salesforce CRM to connect with marketing-qualified prospects identified by our sales development team.Channel Expansion:
Collaborate with partner account managers to enhance channel presence and foster relationships within your geography.Engage with strategic partners to drive revenue growth and strengthen client engagement.Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as their satisfaction is crucial for revenue growth.Access Decision Makers:
Establish and maintain access to decision makers and end users in prospective client companies.Salesforce Records Management:
Keep accurate records of leads, accounts, and forecasts in Salesforce.Forecast Discussions:
Actively participate in weekly honest and ethical forecast discussions.Product Knowledge and Industry Trends:
Develop a solid understanding of Arcserve’s product portfolio.Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and internal product updates.Required Job Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience that aligns with the essential functions of the position.Sales Experience:
A minimum of five years of sales experience in software sales, technology, or related fields.Preferred Job Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Organizational and Communication Skills:Excellent organizational and communication skills.Channel Partner Experience:
