Position Overview:
Under the direction of the VP East & Strategic Accts, the Senior Strategic Accounts Manager is someone who performs a variety of sales related duties targeted at designated Strategic Accounts and provides sales support in accordance with company policies and procedures. This is a not a supervisory position
Responsibilities:
Sales Related:
Be the main contact for and manage relationships with designated Strategic Accounts national offices. These will primarily be within the large club chain account segments. Strategic planning for growth of Matrix brand in other potential Strategic Accounts. Coordinate implementation of strategies and/or tactical execution with key stakeholders including VP of Strategic Accounts and Executive VP of Sales.Monitor the new opportunities volume each month and total pipeline of all designated accounts opportunities Provide Product Management with product, market and customer feedback/informationRegularly provide management with accurate reportsTravel to various customer meetings and product installations as requiredProvide post product installation supportMeet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goalsFollow all related procedures & policiesAttend periodic industry trade shows which usually require travel RequirementsEducation:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus additional training or education such as an associate’s degree with combination of experience requiredBachelor's degree preferred in relevant field preferredExperience:
Minimum 5+ years of industry experience as a proven producer requiredSales forecasting and reporting capability requiredWorking knowledge of the commercial fitness industry; dues paying facilities and/or vertical market requiredEstablished relationships with designated strategic accounts preferred.Other Requirements:
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer requiredSoftware experience with CRM (SFDC), Auto Sketch or similar preferredDriver’s license required with acceptable motor vehicle record for extensive domestic travel for customer site visits, trade shows, sales meetings, etc.Skills:
Sales forecasting and reporting capabilityKnowledge of sales processes and ability to follow established sales procedures and policiesDemonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong sense of initiative and a sense of urgency, demonstrated by accomplishing tasks; improving current work processes; and assisting others when necessaryAble to uphold the Company’s mission, values and ethics and supports the Company’s vision and goalsUnwavering attention to detail and commitment to world-class qualityAbility to embrace deadlinesAble to project a positive and professional demeanor to all internal and external contactsBenefits:
