What the day will look like
In conjunction with the Leadership team, develop and execute a business plan (including timeline) covering the following:
External
+ Clear responsibility / accountability for who is leading client interactions, particularly CCUS and Hydrogen
+ Accessible library of client facing product / marketing material
+ Annual rolling plan for seminar / conference attendance and representation
+ Market engagement:
+ Tracking / cascading market “ESG” strategies
+ Identification and engagement with existing / emerging markets who can support new coverage concepts
+ Marketing campaign – responsibility / management of:
+ Website content
+ Thought leadership papers
+ Linkedin - articles / “flash news” / colleague cascade and sharing
Internal
+ ETG structure and responsibilities
+ Targeted strategy for CCUS (T&SCo and Emitters) and Hydrogen
+ Clear responsibility / accountability for who is leading network interactions, particularly CCUS and Hydrogen
+ Imbedding ET into Regional Sales process / network conversations
+ Training / upskilling of colleague capabilities to interact with clients / colleagues
+ Develop prospect pipeline / oversee NR pipeline management of live opportunities
+ Agreed protocols for dealing with ET opportunities as they arise – consider both NR London and Network responsibilities
+ Imbedding ET into annual colleague objective setting
+ Structured feedback into annual colleague performance cycle
+ Identify / prioritise and lead ET product development
+ Once agreed and implemented, be responsible for overseeing the progression of the business plan and ensuring that agreed timelines / targets are met by those allocated tasks and responsibilities
+ Represent ANR London as an internal / external figurehead for Energy Transition
+ Lead ETG and work closely with CCUS / Hydrogen leaders to support the development and implementation of their agreed strategies
+ Lead / support high value client interactions (for example, bp NEP / NZT) – agree with BU leader which to prioritise
+ Lead / support key market interactions
+ Liaise with other ET Aon stakeholders where appropriate (for example, AGRC, Climate, ECG) – arrange monthly call to share knowledge and ideas.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Demonstrate previous experience in developing and implementing a successful Sales strategy
+ Previous experience leading a diverse team
+ Demonstrate Project management skills / Working to deadlines / delivering results
+ Ability to develop and implement an effective Business Plan, identifying/ opportunity/revenue/resource requirements
+ Demonstrate stakeholder management skills.
