Strategic Account Manager - Food & Beverage (remote)

What is the role about? 

The Strategic Account Manager has responsibility for sales of the full Endress+Hauser product line to the designated customers focused on their specific market or industry segment. SAMs drive growth in net sales and profits, help define customer standards for products and co-create joint vision and goals with the customer.  For the assigned accounts, this position is an ambassador/lead point of contact on a national basis; involves problem solving, contract negotiation for pricing, development of customer specific agreements, and account strategies. 

Which tasks will you perform? 

Identify and develop corporate to plant level stakeholders that are responsible for driving overall business opportunities.   In conjunction with local, regional, and non-USA sales support personnel:   Meet with corporate and plant level personnel   Develop account development plans  Establish action items for sales growth   Identify projects and coordinate in conjunction with project teams   Align sales activity in support of the overall growth for Endress+Hauser USA   Work with international Sales Center, international strategic resources, and Production Center personnel to ensure worldwide coverage of key account interests.   Define specific development plans to sustainably grow the business within the strategic locations.  

What do we expect from you? 

You will have (required): 

Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years relevant experience or 7-10 years relevant experience in sales    Experience managing a sales team   Marketing and account development experience   Ability to travel up to 50%   

You may have (preferred):

Relationship management experience   Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners   High-level sales and/or marketing experience   Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to make decisions   Ability to create and manage budgets
