As a Strategic Account Manager at The Penny Hoarder, you will play a key role in cultivating and growing our partnerships with advertising clients. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to execute performance-driven strategies, optimize campaigns, and ensure the ongoing success of our revenue-generating initiatives.

The Impact You Will Make Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term, value-driven relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and KPIs to ensure we deliver exceptional campaign outcomes. Campaign Strategy & Execution: Drive the creation, execution, and optimization of digital performance campaigns that meet client objectives while ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Revenue Growth & Performance Optimization: Continuously assess campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement strategies to exceed revenue targets and maximize ROI for both clients and The Penny Hoarder. Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct in-depth analysis of key performance metrics (KPIs) such as conversion rates, click thru rates, and lifetime value to proactively improve campaign outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (product, media buying, editorial, etc.) to align on client goals and execute integrated strategies that drive business results. Onboarding & Support: Lead client onboarding, ensuring successful setup of affiliate tracking, and provide ongoing support to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth campaign execution. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. What You Bring Experience: 5+ years in account management, client success, or performance marketing, preferably in the digital advertising or media industry. Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business, or equivalent professional experience. Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and apply insights to optimize results. Collaboration: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with internal teams and clients to align on goals and drive results. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot) and campaign tracking tools (e.g., HasOffers/Tune, Google Analytics). Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with affiliate marketing or performance-based advertising. Familiarity with media buying and digital marketing strategies.
