Strategic Advisor - Professional Associate Director

What You Will Do:

As a Strategic Advisor - Professional Associate Director you will provide subject matter expertise in support of multiple client engagements; develop and review presentations, briefings, memos, and reports. In addition, you will:

Present during meetings, summits, and working sessions with senior client executives

Facilitate workshops, strategy sessions, and tiger teams

Discuss and develop solutions with client service teams and existing/new clients

Identify policy, program, and/or business problems in client organization and support new business capture from sourcing through award/close

Perform research on key accounts and client leadership with which to engage to effectively qualify and scope new business opportunities

Actively engage within target accounts and relevant market(s) to keep current on existing and new trends, problem areas, or other issues that develop into new requirements and growth opportunities

Consistently and systematically initiate client discussions; pursue new relationships and maintain existing relationships

Understand client business issues and match them to firm’s capabilities; identified new opportunities to support client organizations

Support development of proposals, white papers, thought leadership


What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

10+ years of experience managing large and complex public health programs

10+ years of experience working with or at a public health-focused federal or state public health agency

Recent (within the last 12 months) experience working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Knowledge of federal government budget planning, execution, and procurement processes

Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a demonstrated ability to make difficult concepts easy to understand

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be organized, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a collaborative environment

Possess an acute awareness of organizational cultures and political savvy

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships with senior executives

Proficiency with MS Office applications

15+ years of experience managing large and complex public health programs
