Strategic Alliance Manager

**Overview**
This position will demonstrate ABM’s unique value to potential urban and HCBU key account customers, working with territory Business Development Managers providing them with introductory meetings with C-Suite Level leaders of schools and/or school boards, city councils, and key municipal employees. This is done through establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners within a school’s leadership team to understand their strategic priorities, leading towards discussions of a comprehensive symbiotic partnership between the school and ABM. This position requires the Strategic Alliance Director to be well versed in school advancement, engagement, corporate relations, school funding and financial acumen to demonstrate an ability to navigate a complex business development environment.
This person will assist in establishing initial relationships with potential clients by attending conferences and community events as well as organizing ABM sponsored gatherings for the purpose of further engagement with key decision-makers.
This position will be assigned strategic accounts to pursue opportunities for continued growth.

+ High level of motivation and ability to secure appointments with K12 and Higher Ed decision makers
+ Ability to understand a school’s unique strategic goals and communicate how ABM can be a great strategic partner
+ Ability to attend a school’s functions around curriculum, culture, community, and career opportunities.
+ Be THE advocate for 100% referenceable clients relating to this value proposition.
+ Special projects and other duties as assigned
**Requirements:**
**_Education:_**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
**_Experience:_**
+ 10+ years of experience in Development, Advancement, Engagement, Corporate Relations at the University level and/or experience with school boards, municipal government, city councils.
**_Other:_**
+ Proven success in building high level relationships
+ Proven success proactively creating meetings
+ Must be comfortable with speaking to large audiences
+ Ability to use customer relationship management software such as Salesforce
+ Must have strong written and oral communication skills, presentation skills, and computer skills in in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Experience:
+ Experience fund raising and/or Corporate Relations at K-12 Education and Colleges/Universities is highly preferred.
