About the Role The Strategic Analyst I will be responsible for analyzing data across SelectQuote’s various lines of business with key focus areas of marketing value optimization intracompany transfers and customer retention efforts. This role involves working closely with senior leadership to provide actionable insights that drive business performance. You will be expected to deliver precise and meaningful analysis leveraging various data tools to solve complex business problems and enhance operational strategies. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker have strong analytical skills and excel at translating data into actionable recommendations that improve company performance. They will also have the ability to work cross-functionally effectively communicating their findings to diverse stakeholders across the organization. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel SQL and other tools to generate insights on customer behavior marketing performance and internal transfers. Develop strategies to improve marketing efficiency and customer retention by analyzing key metrics and trends. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership through clear concise reports and presentations. Work collaboratively with marketing and operations teams to identify areas for process improvement and performance optimization. Assist with ad hoc analysis requests and provide strategic input on various business initiatives. Leverage SelectQuote databases and technology to manage and analyze large data sets. Maintain a high level of autonomy and ownership in assigned projects ensuring timely and accurate execution. Skills/Abilities: Strong Bachelor’s degree in Finance Economics Statistics Marketing or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in an analytics role preferably within marketing business operations or a related field. Experience with Microsoft Excel SQL and data visualization tools. Familiarity with Python or other programming languages is a plus. Experience working with large datasets and delivering actionable insights. Physical Requirements: Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
