Strategic Business Developer

 

The Aerospace Defense and Government Business Manager is a highly transparent and outstanding position which requires deep Aerospace & Defense Validated experience in  test methodologies, market trends, deep knowledge of the major Prime contractors in the US.  A successful Manager is the owner of BU strategy implementation, including using industry knowledge to position value to customers, and differentiation from competition.  In many cases you will be leading participating in cross-functional teams to develop business plans and execution to drive business growth, integrating account/domain feedback/direction to improve current & future BU solutions/direction.  

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Increase Account Alignment between BU & Account Teams. Understand the major Defense Contractors & Defense ecosystem, key accounts and related competition in target market segments. Build credibility as a critical business advisor for the account teams through providing business & technology domain expertise and growing customer confidence Build long term strategic relationship with key customers and industry authorities Support Account Teams to increase BU solutions / systems reach and drive efficiency across functions to win strategic deals and scale business Understand return on investment for the engagements (BU, Sales, Support, Services, Partners), lead scope of committed work & represent business need across NI

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor's or master’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) 10+ years of experience, 5+ years Aerospace/Defense or related industry experience Domain Acumen: Technical, Business, Market, Competitor, cross-functional teams through influence to deliver on business needs, objectives, and achievements across multiple years Industry knowledge and insight at target accounts Track record of leading customer facing engagements  Strategic and tactical success resulting in the creation of a ‘new’ revenue pipeline leadership in account/business planning to deliver a result Understanding of the RF requirements for the Radar, and Electronic Warfare markets with a focus on system level validation. US Citizen & Ability to gain Government clearance
