Opportunity Overview
The Strategic Business Development Manager will play a key role in identifying, developing, and nurturing new business opportunities to drive the company’s growth. This individual will collaborate closely with senior leadership, sales, and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that expand our market presence, improve revenue streams, and enhance overall business performance.
+ Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor activity, and potential new markets. Analyze customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors to identify growth opportunities.
+ Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term business development strategies in line with the company's objectives. Focus on both new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
+ Partnership Development: Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and clients. Negotiate and close deals with potential partners and customers.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
+ Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and ensure that agreements align with the company’s strategic goals.
+ Performance Metrics & Reporting: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development efforts. Provide regular updates to senior management on progress and achievements.

+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
+ 20+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning, with a proven track record of driving growth and developing business partnerships
+ Strong analytical skills and experience in market research and competitive analysis
+ Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
