Who Are We Looking For?
The SVP, Strategic Business Growth North America will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth through strategic sales opportunities such as acquisitions, lift-outs or other large scale sales initiatives. The scope of this role is to drive revenue beyond the traditional sales teams efforts and increase C-suite engagement with major clients and prospects. This senior role will report to the EVP, Strategic Business Growth and will require you to partner with the broader global Commercial Office including Sales, as well as Regional and Country Heads and other senior business leaders (eg. Products, Alpha, GD and GM) to execute against clearly defined goals to grow our overall revenues. This role can be based in the United States in a location that aligns with our regional footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for sourcing, originating and executing strategic sales opportunities to grow revenue. This incudes potential lift-outs, acquisitions, and outsourcing with clients.
Utilize industry contacts and network to ensure strong awareness of potential opportunities within the market.
Source and cultivate new leads for strategic opportunities across all segments
Lead due diligence and collaborate with broader M&A team to successfully close transactions
Contribute to a virtual team of resources to manage the origination process for these strategic deals
Ensure successful execution of identified opportunities, managing any risk and regulatory factors
Identify new business opportunities and partner to formulate and deliver our value proposition – focus on foundational, higher margin solutions
Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience selling to and/or servicing institutions
Proven track record of experience in strategic, large scale sales opportunities ▪ Strong commercial mindset and ability to break down barriers to achieve financial goals
Ability to influence and work collaboratively with colleagues to support business goals
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as one State Street
Strong knowledge and network of key contacts in the industry
Ability to operate effectively across markets globally, with a deep understanding for local markets in North America

Salary Range:
$225,000 - $337,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
