Role + Responsibilities

As a Strategic Buyer for electronic components, you will develop strategies for electronic categories and their global supplier portfolios You will be responsible for the implementation of purchasing strategies in close cooperation with our Global Sourcing Hubs in China and India Strategic management of supplier relationships and preparation and implementation of development plans are part of your role You will contribute to our business continuity You will also optimize category supply chains, taking into account sustainability, quality, costs and delivery to give Endress+Hauser a competitive edge. You will proactively support Endress+Hauser's innovation pipeline involving the company's innovation partners.

 

Qualification + Profile

You have successfully completed a university degree in a technical and/or commercial program. You also have at least 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing in a technical field You are a team, customer and target orientated person You have strong interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills You are characterized by an analytical and strategic mindset You are persuasive and have advanced negotiation skills You are willing to spend 15 to 20% of your time traveling (mainly in Europe)
