The Strategic Campus Planner will lead the development, and governance of campus development and strategic land utilization plans for corporate sites, focusing on improving the way our facilities support and enable the employees needs over the near and long term business plan periods. Campus strategic improvement plans will address buildings, site and landscape and campus mobility while seeking to improve the overall daily experience for employees, visitors and guests. Campus Planning programs will range from new construction on greenfield sites, to redevelopment, demolition, and overall portfolio rightsizing. The duties of the role will engage with the broader team of internal and external design professionals, and alongside strategic consultants to ensure the projects advance in alignment with corporate strategies and design standards, to deliver best in class campus work environments. This role must ensure that the program complexities of each project are evaluated against the corporate objectives and balanced against a future forward mindset and evaluating any potential changes necessary to the corporate strategy around facilities and campus environments. This role will also lead in the development of strategies pertaining to building Architecture, Site & Landscape, Mobility, and Experience. The Strategic Campus Planner will also work in a capacity outside of corporate environments, acting as a liaison for regional developments with neighboring business, communities, and local municipalities. **Job Responsibilities:** + Maintain master development plans for all corporate campuses focusing on optimizing the facilities to align with business unit needs. This can include growth, right sizing, redevelopment and strategic new construction & demolition. Utilize the strategic plans to govern active projects and make necessary updates to the strategic plan as business conditions change. + Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new programs, evaluating alternative site considerations andmeasuring ROI to provide direction. + Collaborate with key SME’s to develop comprehensive pre-construction scoping and advanced project alignment to better align capital planner funding and project calendarization. + Conduct alternative building and land use studies for real estate redevelopment opportunities that support emerging business needs and improve facility and/or campus operation, or improve the financial status of the real estate portfolio. + Develop and maintain strategic campus design guidelines to ensure a cohesive experience across all regional sites. + Partners with Gov. Affairs to facilitate the development and construction processes supporting municipal and community engagement. + Engage and advise on non-Ford regional development as necessary to protect the interest of Ford Motor Company and leverage external incentives. + Analyze opportunities for alternative funding sources including grants and tax based programs to support larger redevelopment plans. **Job Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in urban planning, architecture, strategic planning, real estate development, or real estate program management. + Minimum 5 years of work experience with a Master’s degree or 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in fields of urban planning, campus planning, real estate program or portfolio management, architecture, or real estate development. **Licenses and Certifications:** + WELL or LEED Certified + AICP **Work Requirements:** This role has regional coverage responsibilities and as such may require travel (Domestic & International) as a part of this position to evaluate and support sites outside of the assigned work location.
