Deloitte is seeking a Strategic Communications Senior Consultant, responsible for creating and delivering impactful communications strategies that support organizational change, transformation, and business growth for our clients and our firm.

Work you’ll do

As a Strategic Communications Senior Consultant, your role is to help differentiate Deloitte in the marketplace — serving clients with distinction, quality, and emerging perspectives. You will engage clients and stakeholders to develop tailored communication strategies, plans, and deliverables that address modern business challenges and drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative thinker, early adopter of trends and technologies, has an appreciation for grammar and content fundamentals, as well as a hunger to learn, collaborate, and drive real value and results. 

Core Responsibilities:

Client-Centric Communication Strategy Development: Analyze client business objectives and identify key communication challenges and opportunities to address them through communications.Narrative Creation: Help inform and build strategic narratives by gathering and understanding the relevant frameworks, understanding what story needs to be told, and shaping the drafts.Customized Communication Planning: Build tailored communications plans that capture audience segmentation, channel strategy, content cadence, and performance metrics. Ensure plans are adaptive to client needs, and support change and transformation with precision and clarity.Project Management and Execution:Build and maintain detailed project plans that align with client priorities, track progress, and adapt to evolving requirements.Ensure timely and quality delivery of communications outputs, meeting both client expectations and Deloitte’s standards.Clear, Compelling Storyboarding: Communicate linear, clear thinking through deck storyboarding and drafting — Deloitte communicates through decks internally and with clients.Engagement with Industry Trends: Follow and understand comms industry reports and data, emerging tech and tools, and opportunities for our teams to work, think, deliver differently.Practice and Proposal Development:Contribute to the growth of Deloitte's Strategic Communications practice by drafting compelling proposals for new client engagements.Support internal and external eminence-building activities, like thought leadership and content creation, that position Deloitte as a leader in Strategic Communications.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Journalism3-5 years of experience in communications rolePrior consulting experienceExceptional writing and editing skills across mediums and platformsProven experience developing and executing communications strategies and plans for a large business or organization Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience advising client executives on how to create a compelling story that ties the purpose of an initiative to the overall business strategyAbility to interact and creatively communicate across a variety of stakeholder groups (from technical subject matter experts to senior executives), with ability to present complex information in an understandable format and tailored to specific audiences Previous human capital consulting experience supporting clients Previous experience managing interns/junior staff, or independently managing clients Strong project management skills Ability to work effectively in a primarily hybrid and virtual environment

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,950 to $208,250.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
