The Thermo King Refrigerated Transport business has a great opportunity in their Connected Solutions business for an experienced solution sales manager who thrives in a fast-paced and exciting team environment. He or she will be responsible for the identification, pursuit and closure of new refrigerated business opportunities in North America.

 

What you will do:   

Lead all sales & business development efforts for Thermo King’s North America n refrigerated connected solutions businessResponsible for supporting the sales efforts for TK Digital strategy around value of data and service offerings to dealer and end customerProvide refrigerated transport fleets with connected solutions through comprehensive needs analysis and a consultative sales approachEstablish close working relationships with Thermo King Dealers and District Sales & Service managers to inspire collaboration, improve understanding of strategic value to both dealer and customer, and pursue leads to sell connected solutions to identified fleetsCollaborate with Thermo King Dealers and District Sales to enhance equipment sales with a clear understanding of how Thermo King’s Connected Solutions increase the customer value of the overall Thermo King offeringCollaborate with Connected Solutions Product Management team to create value propositions based on established customer needsOwn and execute the business management process from opportunity identification to contract awardEstablish and grow business relationships with key decision makers, identifying and developing strong relationships, and appropriately utilizing influencers and advocatesGrow the business from new and established customer relationshipsPenetrate competitive accounts and communicate current market intelligence back to the business

 

What you will bring: 

Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience in a large, matrix organizationExperience in the refrigerated transport industry is highly desired but not required Experience selling connected solutions or wireless technologies, transportation management, or supply chain software, is highly desiredSuperior presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills; able to present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impactDemonstrated ability to manage and grow sales volume; ability to meet and exceed sales goalsOutstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skillsDemonstrated ability to build, maintain, and close business on a consistent basis Demonstrated experience in selling high value solutions by leveraging compelling ROI calculationsDemonstrated ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environmentProven consultative sales skills, including the ability to discover customer problems and implications, establish value and financial justification resulting in customer purchaseAbility to travel 40-50%

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $94,950 to $125,550 Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
