Integrate MITRE’s strategic non-kinetic cyber, economic, and influence activities into comprehensive strategies that provide our sponsors with strategic solutions to counter complex, multi-domain threats and deliver measurable outcomes across the competition, crisis, and conflict spectrum.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on emerging technologies, policy developments, and economic trends to support strategic initiatives.Collaborate with team members to assist in the development of systems-level architectures for command and control, focusing on the integration of cyber, economic, and influence effects.Participate in the formulation of innovative strategies that effectively integrate cyber, economic, and influence activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and sponsor needs.Support the preparation of detailed reports and presentations that communicate strategic insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.Engage in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to ongoing projects and initiatives.Basic Qualifications:
Have studied domestic, foreign, or economic policy.Demonstrated sustained excellence in academic performance, showcasing strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program with a commitment to continue full-time enrollment the semester following the internship.Academic coursework or practical experience in domestic, foreign, or economic policy, with a keen interest in understanding their implications on global security.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Preferred Qualifications:
A demonstrated interest in public service and a passion for contributing to national security and policy development.Proficiency in code development and familiarity with software tools relevant to cyber and economic analysis.Understanding of autonomous systems and their applications in strategic contexts.Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) Software Acquisition processes and related regulatory frameworks.Ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):
