With significant progress across various aspects of our product, we are now prioritizing customer acquisition and profitable growth as our top objectives for the coming years. Our growth team (product & marketing) is directly responsible for Jerry’s most critical initiative - achieving high double-digit growth - by driving customer acquisition through strategic and innovative approaches.

To achieve this, we are expanding our growth team and hiring a Strategic Growth Lead to drive and optimize our strategic customer acquisition efforts - e.g., community growth, product improvements, and transforming engaged customers into loyal, high-retention users.

This role offers substantial career growth opportunities, resources, and CEO visibility. You will work closely with the VP of Growth (Product & Marketing) and the executive team to build, optimize, and scale high-impact growth initiatives. Initially, this position is a hands-on individual contributor role with the potential to transition into a leadership role as we scale. This position is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a strategic growth function, work alongside an elite team, and drive exponential business growth. How you will make an impact:

Phase 1: Hands-on execution and rapid experimentation

Your initial focus will be on identifying and experimenting with strategic growth levers such as community growth, product improvements, and converting engaged customers into long-term users. This period will last 12 - 30 months, depending on the speed and effectiveness of the changes you implement. Example responsibilities include:

Create unique winning acquisition tactic - e.g., winning on Reddit, which relatively recently emerged as the fastest growing digital marketing channel, with the support of an experienced agency

Own and drive strategic customer acquisition efforts from end to end, including strategy, execution, analysis, and optimization, with support from the data team, product team, and agency partners

Develop, test, and scale innovative acquisition strategies, identifying key success levers and building a playbook for sustainable growth

Develop and refine community and messaging strategies that resonate with target audiences through customer empathy and strategic creativity.

Phase 2: Scaling successful strategies and expanding the team

Once successful strategies are identified, you have the opportunity to transition into a leadership role, scaling proven initiatives and expanding your impact across additional growth areas. Example responsibilities include:

Strategize the full-funnel growth roadmap to achieve long-term, sustainable acquisition and retention.

Expand new growth levers with an innovative, customer-centric, and data-driven approach.

Optimize customer engagement strategies, driving long-term lifetime value.

Build and lead a growth team, hiring and mentoring junior growth specialists to expand and optimize our customer acquisition efforts.

Who you are:

3+ years of strategic consulting background, ideally MBB or equivalent

2+ years of experience in B2C business related to growth (e.g., marketing, product, strategy or operations)

Strategic and creative thinker who can innovate on customer acquisition approaches while deeply understanding customer needs and behaviors

Agile operator who is data driven at all times and is obsessed with non-stop testing and learning 

Entrepreneurial and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where you have full ownership of your initiatives.

Customer-first mindset, with an innate ability to craft strategies that align with customer pain points and motivations.

Ownership mentality—you’re not satisfied with "good enough" and are always looking for ways to maximize impact.
