Key Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive research on public policy, best practices, and regulatory compliance.Utilize data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across various agency business units and functions.Prepare detailed reports and compelling presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.Policy Development:
Assist in creating and implementing innovative policies and procedures that comply with state regulations and support the agency’s goals of affordability, competitiveness, and equity.Evaluate the impact of existing policies and recommend adjustments to enhance their effectiveness.Coordination and Oversight:
Monitor the activities and performance of different agency unitsEnsure cohesive and aligned operations across all units to achieve the agency’s strategic objectives.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between units.Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, public interest groups, and other government agencies.Support stakeholder meetings and ensure clear communication of agency policies and procedures.Help manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to support agency goals.Project Management:
Assist the Chief Operating Officer in managing special projects and strategic initiatives.Track project progress, identify potential challenges, and propose practical solutions.Coordinate project activities to ensure timely and successful completion.The Operational Services Division values staff diversity and contributions to an inclusive working and learning environment.

Substitutions:
I. A Bachelor's degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the-required experience.
II. A Graduate degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.
III. A Bachelor's or higher degree with a major other than in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.
