Unleash Your Potential. Join Lubrizol's Estane business as a Strategic Key Account Manager, where you will play a crucial role in shaping and fostering relationships with our most significant and complex strategic customers. This position will allow you to drive our business forward by planning and executing strategies that enhance our supplier status and deliver exceptional value. You will also contribute to our legacy of excellence and thermoplastic innovation.
What You Will Do:
Develop and Implement Growth Plans: Craft and execute strategic growth plans for key accounts, ensuring alignment with business targets and delivering continuous sales and margin growth. Build Relationships: Establish and nurture deep, meaningful relationships across all levels and functions within the customer's organization. Understand Customer Goals: Gain an in-depth understanding of our customers' business objectives and innovation goals, continuously aligning Lubrizol's capabilities to support their success. Enable Success: Coordinate with internal stakeholders to leverage Estane's capabilities and resources for customer success. Lead Teams: Oversee and lead cross-functional teams to achieve account objectives. Negotiate Contracts: Lead complex contract negotiations and manage regional supply agreements. Strategic Insights: Provide valuable external insights to internal teams, contributing to business development, market trends, and sustainability initiatives.What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or Business from an accredited institution, or relevant equivalent experience. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in sales. Previous strategic account management experience is preferred. Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Engineered Polymers, elastomers, and/or thermoplastics preferred. Account Management: Proven experience managing large, complex, global, or multi-regional accounts. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think both tactically and strategically, develop short, medium, and long-term visions for accounts. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong drive for results. Matrix Organization: Capable of working in a matrix organization and developing senior-level relationships with internal partners. Innovative Mindset: Demonstrated success in implementing new products, solutions, technology, and value-selling programs.
