Strategic Ledger Finance Data Architect - Director

The Finance Data Architect for the Strategic Ledger program will lead the updates to existing Release 1 end to end data architecture and help design the finance data architecture for future releases, regions, and line of business. They will work closely with both the Strategic Ledger accounting lead and data leads in these activities.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead definition of finance data architecture that aligns to latest enterprise data standards and supports planned accounting and reporting/downstream data requirements
+ Support analysis required for PPs when accounting moved to Strategic Ledger
+ Analyze current Release 1 architecture to identify opportunities to update, streamline, and better align to current and future enterprise data standards
+ Lead activities for finance data architecture key design decisions
+ Participate in enterprise design authority as one of the key Strategic Ledger finance representatives
+ Often requires development of new concepts and approaches to solving issues affecting business/ geographic region or a major segment of it.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
**Qualifications:**
+ 15+ years of relevant experience within the financial services industry required
+ In depth knowledge of banking products/systems and how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function.
+ Requires thorough knowledge of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas.
+ Extensive knowledge of the industry, direct competitors' products and services, is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial goals of the business.
+ Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
+ Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary.
+ Frequently involved with a variety of broad based and complex issues requiring conceptual thinking.
**Education:**
+ Bachelors degree, preferably Masters degree and managerial experience

**Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:**
$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
