About this opportunity: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid, minimum 60% in the office)
We are looking for a Strategic Marketing Director (the position must be based in the Ericsson office in Santa Clara) to join the North American M&C team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive business growth and strengthen our market position.
This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns, partner marketing & strategy, and content marketing. The candidate will work closely with the core team to develop and implement multichannel marketing activities targeting CSPs, Hyperscalers, and supporting various local & global technology thought leadership initiatives emerging from our innovation center called D-15 in Silicon Valley. By leveraging their strategic thinking and expertise, the candidate will contribute to the development of innovative marketing strategies that align with our business objectives and drive measurable results.
What you will do:
Co-develop & execute omnichannel marketing programs toward Tier-1 CSP (i.e. T-Mobile, etc.) to meet business objectives. Oversee relationships & collaborate with Hyperscaler (i.e. Google Cloud, etc.) to create and implement joint marketing strategies, including events, demo development, joint announcements, and launch plans for new products and services in collaboration business areas. Support with developing and managing strategic partnerships with key industry players and other technology partners around 5G ecosystem. Develop and activate various marketing materials, including blogs (including Partners), reports, testimonials, and presentations, to promote the company's offerings and thought leadershipMonitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.Collaborate with local innovation center teams to ensure there is a cohesive pre-event (activation), at-event (onsite support like delivering of demo, registration, catering) and post-event strategy to increase engagementWork with internal and external teams on creating marketing/thought leadership content that can be activated externally via digital/f2f channels such as events, social media, paid influence engagements, etc. Supporting local and global activities in-house (e.g., tours of the innovation center and coordination with on-site resources to support them)Collaborate with internal teams, in-house and external agencies to oversee the design and production of marketing materials from inception to deployment
The skills you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related fieldMinimum 10+ years of telecom or telecom adjacent ecosystem marketing (digital, brand) and Tech activation experience, in a B2B spaceTech-savvy with an aptitude for maximizing technology for communication and marketingPartner-oriented mindset and strong partner marketing experienceSuperior communication skills- verbal, written, listening in English and with the ability to inform and influence at all levelsEstablished project management skills: program development processes, timeline management, coordination of resources, and budget managementWorking knowledge of MarTech tools such as webinar platforms (i.e., On24), A/V experience, Office (including SharePoint), Event Management software (i.e., Splash), Marketing automation (i.e., Marketo), social media tools/platforms, and SalesforceWhat happens once you apply?

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
• Santa Clara: $198,000 - $255,000
STV: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson’s 401(k) plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and up to a 4% company match, leading to a maximum company contribution of 7% annually. Employees will also receive company paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage and paid company short-term and long-term disability benefits. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided up to 40 days of paid time off per year, including 15 days of accrued annual vacation, 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 1 volunteer day. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Those with additional vacation time at the end of the year may sell one week of vacation, equal to a week of pay. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of maternity/medical leave, 6 weeks of paternity or adoption leave at 100% of pay, and medical leave at 100% or 66 2/3% of pay, based on length of service.
