Strategic Marketing Leader

Overview:

The Strategic Marketing Leader will lead and drive the growth for Fruits & Vegetables business in Crop Protection. The role involves both high-level strategy and execution of marketing plans to drive growth, brand awareness, customer engagement, and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives. Drive Long term strategic growth for the portfolio.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet objectives.

Access mega trends, technology disruption & build interventions for future growth.

Off patent strategy/management. Large asset management

Build & Drive portfolio/Crop strategy.

Portfolio gap Fulfilment through strategic ties ups

Portfolio renewal & Portfolio life cycle management

Integrated pricing strategy

Cross functional collaboration for growth of portfolios across value chain

Market-focused strategy design and execution to increase F&V market penetration in segments with strong CTVA portfolio (i.e co-marketing, bundling, cross promotion, strategic addition of biologicals)

Seek adjacent partnerships to support further market promotion and penetration of the CTVA portfolio (i.e Food Chain, seed companies, co-marketing)

Strategic initiative, Team Management

Taking functional guidance from Regional Marketing, ensure that cross-functional collaboration is happening at the Regional and CU level to support country launch preparations while strengthening and enabling the overall launch process.

Support CU efforts in building competency (effectiveness, bench-strengths, competitiveness) in Marketing and New Commercialization to ensure successful launches.

Education & Experience:

Master’s degree in business/Agribusiness

Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Marketing focused on brand & portfolio management in agribusiness or related industries that connect with end-users; minimum 10 years of leading either Marketing or Sales function.

Robust experience in driving strategic efforts that delivered sustained growth through holistic Marketing & Execution Plans

Team management skills-handled a team

Has directly handled end-to-end process of product launches.

A confident speaker; able to articulate messages well in small to medium size groups

Solid experience in driving strategic efforts that delivered sustained growth through holistic Marketing & Execution Plans

High level of comfort in leading a team either through direct, matrix or a cross-functional team working on a project
