SUMMARY
Our Marketing team plays an important role in the development of our strategy and its successful execution. As a Strategic Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in defining and executing short- and long-term marketing strategies for the division. In support of ITW’s Enterprise Strategy, you will fuel the New Product Development (NPD) and Strategic Sales Excellence processes with market intel that will position our division to grow with new and existing customers. Leveraging your analytical mindset, you will define market opportunities and develop marketing strategies aimed at exploiting them. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Strategy:
Own overall marketing strategy for assigned product or market.
Own strategic segmentation for assigned product or market.
Develop and implement Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for products, markets, or key customers.
Partner with marketing and sales teams to define brand awareness strategies, including trade show participation and marketing communications strategy.
Improve profitability through targeted pricing activities and driving operational excellence from the organization.
Drive conversion of opportunity pipeline to revenue.
Assist in long-range and annual planning.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or similar required.
5+ years’ experience in sales or marketing required.
B2B Manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, and able to make strategic and operational decisions.
Strong organizational skills and proven capability in successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills.
Domestic or international travel required - typically 30%.
