Bridgestone Americas and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries. **Job Category** Sales, Marketing & Product Management **Position Summary** The Strategic Mine Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales plans and coordinating marketing strategies to establish and maintain sales relationships with major accounts and customers in the Off the Road business unit of Core Tire. This role works to develop the account management team to maximize profits. **Responsibilities** + Develops, maintains, and implements sales annual plans at assigned Strategic Mine Accounts for Bridgestone products and services. Collaborate on and implement plans designed to grow volume, profit, and in-house share, within respective Mine Accounts. + Identifies opportunities for strategic growth in core market segments, prioritizing to maximize increased sales and improved profitability. Once an opportunity is identified, works to convert the competitive business to Bridgestone and follows through with the successful transition of new business through the new account set up process. + Manages 3-5 direct reports in account planning, sales strategy, VW, ODIS, and forecasting accuracy. + Required to provide periodic operational performance and financial reviews of selected KPIs to customers and internal management to maximize OTR penetration at assigned accounts. + Works with the Field Engineering Team to identify and drive alignment of countermeasures, when necessary, to ensure targeted results are achieved. + Responsible for promoting new products and IT Solutions by building strong business relationships and partnerships with assigned Mine Accounts to include Region and Head Quarter locations. + Works with MMA’s to assure program compliance at the Mine and servicing dealer locations by providing corporate insights and direction to assure maximum OTR penetration and OP. + Measures compliance and success by utilizing the components of the Tire Program and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Develops KPI’s and drives conversations towards total cost reduction. + Recommends programming adjustments, when necessary, in order to attain the highest OP while securing the highest sales volume and in-house share at respective Mine Accounts. + Works with assigned MMA’s on development, forecasting, feedback from Mine, and corporate initiatives. + Collects and reports back competitive OTR market information. **Minimum Qualifications** + Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. + 5 to 7 years of field sales experience. Relevant and/or equivalent experience will also be considered. + History with KPI’s. + Demonstrated ability to influence the decision-making of those outside and within the organization. + Mechanical aptitude or technical ability preferred, but not required. + Highly skilled at preparing and delivering presentations to internal and external customers. _Bridgestone is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
