Hartford HealthCare This highly analytical position reports to the Manager of Strategic Planning and will work closely with executive leadership in driving strategic initiatives throughout the health system The right candidate will have a strong analytical background as well as a proven ability and willingness to interpret data and present findings to project stakeholders The analyst will participate in a wide range of responsibilities including market share proforma development business planning market activity reports industry trends and competitor research national health system survey completion and numerous other ad hoc requests Success in this role will provide an opportunity to hone key analytical and strategic planning skills necessary to assessing an evolving healthcare landscape while working within a team dedicated to developing early careeristsPosition ResponsibilitiesHospital Service Line Strategic Planning and SupportProduce market activity reports that support the HHC hospital and service line decision making Reports would identify market trends and include recommendations on opportunities for system growth in addition to insights on competitive activity This position will provide critical analytical support for monthly executive leadership meetings known as business unit reviews BURsSystem Business Planning SupportAssists the Manager of Strategic Planning and RegionalInstitute Planning Directors with the creation of proformas and business plans to support the growth and future needs of the HHC SystemDashboard Management Routine ReportingCreate visual analytics through Excel Qlikview Sharepoint PowerPoint Maptitude and other software Assist with the development of a Qlikview market share dashboard to streamline routine ad hoc market share reporting Assist with Lean daily management responsibilitiesNational and Regional Market Assessments for System Strategy Regulatory SupportAssist in the development and financial analysis of industry competitors and potential partners as well as analyses to inform of the impact of potential alignment scenarios in the market Develop data rich maps to visualize community health needs as well as the health care landscape Participate in the development of the annual Hartford HealthCare Strategic AssessmentSystem Statistic Management and Survey Response SubmissionAssist the compilation and submission of media industry and regulatory surveys on behalf of Hartford HealthCare Oversee regional responses to surveys to ensure coordinated efforts Compile system wide statistics for use in the annual State of the System report as well as for other miscellaneous requestsReports ToManager Strategic PlanningNature of SupervisionOversee Analystrsquos projects assist with training on all the
