Strategic Planning Manager for Asia Pacific
Develop and maintain reports or databases for market intelligence on market growth, business trends, or competitive information to support Emerson specific business unit and planning processes.Work closely with Vice Presidents of Business Unit and take lead in developing key messages and materials for critical meetings such as site reviews, planning conferences, and country reviews. Contribute to discussion and business planning processes.Work with Finance, Sales and Marketing teams to gather, analyze, store and report on key business data.Define and automate the process to support management in performance measurement and decision making.Guide and support the country marketing and/or planning team in organizing activities such as review processes. Collaborate and build knowledge on how to ensure quality and consistency of practices and framework across businesses in Asia Pacific. Closely collaborate with Asia Pacific headquarters and United States based Strategic Planning teams to ensure alignment and consistency of information, processes and research methodology.Provide analysis and strategic insights to Industry and Marketing Council teams to understand industry segmentation, growth potential and technology trendsStay updated with latest market or industry trends through industrial reports, workshop participation and industry associations in order to support business and strategic planning. Act as the Single Point of Contact in interactions with relevant external research or consulting organizations.Support market research and study programs prioritized by major stakeholders through surveys, research programs, market study and analysis insight. Such areas include but is not limited to: business diversifications, market segments or industries, pricing strategies, Merger and Acquisition proposals, partnership and alliances.
