The Strategic Operations and Safety Team within Scientific In Vivo Strategies (SIS) is responsible for the implementation of an Environmental, Health, and Safety, (EHS) strategy within the Preclinical Sciences and Translation Safety department. The team also holds responsibilities for developing frameworks and managing PSTS business planning for strategic operations activities
The Strategic Operations Safety Analyst is instrumental in supporting planning initiatives across PSTS. This role involves executing tasks to contribute to projects and strategies that enhance the safety culture within PSTS and to advance various strategic initiatives within PSTS.
The Analyst manages the tactical execution of project and program management policies by applying relevant skills and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:Contributes to projects of low to moderate complexity, working under supervision with some level of autonomy, providing guidance and advice to stakeholders for safety planning.Supports establishment and execution of laboratory safety, partnering with key functions such as EHS and will act as the liaison between EHS and the scientific functional leaders.Performs data management and shares outcomes with leadership. This includes a safety dashboard, managing the safety portal, follow-up on training compliance and trending of lab inspections.Collaborates with stakeholders in support of the safety culture, sharing appropriate level of information from EHS back to the individual functions.Coordinates regular connects with the Laboratory Planning Team for local safety planning.Supports operational excellence including implementation of best practices and guidelines in order to support the business for audit readiness.Contributes to established priorities and harmonized business practices to maximize global alignment of safety practices.Understand safety trends globally and support process improvements that promote employee health and safety.Supports strategic initiatives for the global PSTS organization.Supports business continuity strategy and yearly planning for PSTS.Supports strategic planning and goal and objectives monitoring.Contributes to issue review and recommendation/resolution processes.Works with internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.Johnson Johnson is hiring for a Strategic Planning Safety Analyst, Preclinical Sciences Translational Safety to join our team in Spring House, PA.
