The Opportunity:

As a CACI-M&ES Strategic Plans and Policy Advisor you will support Task Force 40-25 and US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), the Theater Special Operations Commands and other Strategic Partners across the Special Operations Forces Emerging Threat, Operations and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) enterprise. The Strategic Plans and Policy Advisor (HQs, USSOCOM) will be responsible for the delivery of operational and strategic level planning and documentation that informs the Special Reconnaissance Enabling Command’s (SREC) OPLANS, CONOPS, and EXORDS.

Responsibilities:

Enable multiple TF 40-25 priorities across a joint staff.Facilitate the fusing of intelligence information with operational plans by leveraging enablers, subject matter experts, technicians, and IC networks/tools.Leverage and delivers the tools, expert joint and Army planning expertise, and tradecraft required to provide timely, relevant, actionable, and understandable options to inform decision-makers and influence outcomes.Interact and engage directly with SREC and USSOCOM leaders and staffs in support of TF 40-25 requirements and priorities that include the development of products, solutions that inform CONOPs, CONEMPs, assessments, and final planning documents to executive audiences.Develop products and solutions while safeguarding information from unintended exposure.Provide expertise in joint planning and Operational Design Flow to the supported command.Support and when directed lead efforts to collaborate and integrate planning activities across the SOF enterprise, communities of interest and the interagency.Develop and initiate new strategic planning and policy initiatives, processes, and implements program methodologies.Ensure all planning inputs are globally integrated, coordinated, resourced, risk informed, and framed within the operational environment.

Qualifications:

Required: 

Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance. A bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience.A minimum of five years’ experience in operations coordination roles of responsibility within an O-6 or above tactical, operational, or strategic-level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope. Documented experience in Sensitive Activities planning, management, or execution. Working knowledge of the tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real-time or near-real-time knowledge management systems.   Executive level communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail. Must be willing to submit to a CI polygraph

Desired: 

Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations in a deployed environment. Must work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,000 - $163,800
