Strategic Process Consultant
Overview Job Purpose The Process Engineer position is responsible for completing various optimization consulting client facing engagements focused on mortgage operations. This role ensures that business value is achieved by reviewing and analyzing current state processes and system utilization to provide client recommendations for process improvements, reengineering, system optimization, industry best practices as well as identify additional ICE Mortgage Technology solutions or other related opportunities. Responsibilities Facilitate sessions to interview, observe, and gather relevant data in in various lines of businesses within the client’s operation. Perform problem analysis, determine solutions to client pain points and provide recommendations. Compiles and analyzes customer data, process flows and reports in preparation for engagements. Prepares and delivers to clients a written report detailing information on observations, recommendations and impacts. Responsible for post engagement oversight to provide guidance and support through the implementation of recommended solutions. Develops professional and positive client relations designed to attract and promote new consulting business and foster an ongoing ICE Mortgage Technology relationship. Develops procedures, flowcharts and other consulting materials as required by the engagement assigned and devises and/or modifies processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and to solve the most complex problems related to clients’ ICE Mortgage Technology products. Provide business and technical thought leadership to other ICE team members throughout the engagement lifecycle. Communicate best practices and benefits of solutions to clients (C-Suite etc.) and other stakeholders. Conduct periodic project reviews to ensure recommended solutions are on target. Ability to travel 20%, or as requested by assigned client. Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience required Prior Mortgage and/or Home Equity Servicing experience highly preferred Practical experience with ICE Mortgage Technology applications and Loan Servicing functionality for HELOC and Consumer loans or other industry standard mortgage workflows and operational processes highly preferred Familiarity with and understanding of the interfaces and integration processes between MSP and ICE applications preferred Previous experience leading optimization projects in Mortgage, banking, financial services or related industry preferred Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to relate to and communicate effectively with various levels of the organization, from the CEO to line level staff, in an organized and professional manner Exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with external, internal, technical and non-technical audiences, as well as establishing and maintaining effective working relationships Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas Solid understanding and skills in project management disciplines and techniques. Must be able to function well as an independent contributor and as part of a team. Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and resourcefulness. Excellent Microsoft Office experience Strong knowledge of financial and/or loan processing services technology, including systems, applications, practices, and emerging technologies Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks, including estimating work effort to ensure the project is completed effectively and timely Client relationship management skills, understanding and focusing on clients' needs, establishing credibility, and building positive, professional, relationships with clients Must be able to handle escalations and conflict resolution Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week. #LI-SF1 Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
