World Wide Technology Inc. currently has an opportunity available for a Strategic Program Manager within Technical Delivery and Engineering. The Strategic Program Manager will be responsible for managing large-scale transformational client initiatives. The individual will be required to engage and work with technical and global teams across a large distributed and matrixed organization. They should be able to demonstrate strong presentation and public speaking skills.
PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE:
Stakeholder Management: Able to emphasize the importance of stakeholder engagement and maintain clear, transparent, and consistent communication to ensure alignment and collaboration. Strategic Planning and Governance: Define comprehensive strategies and governance plans for program delivery, set clear objectives and create an integrated schedule that identifies the critical path for accurate monitoring and reporting. Financial Management: Develop and report program financials, including budget, actuals, resource, and financial forecasting. Conducts regular financial performance reviews and responds or optimizes as needed to achieve financial goals. Executive Communication: Communicate complex and sensitive topics to executives clearly and concisely, maintaining professionalism and safeguarding business relationships. Contract Management: Experience in working with sales to define PMO approach, resource plan and level of effort to delivery scope of work. Ensures clear terms, deliverables, and performance standards. Regularly review existing contracts to ensure adherence and address any discrepancies. Organizational Change Management (OCM): Integrate formal or informal OCM best practices and considerations into the formal governance strategy and planning to manage and support change effectively across the program.Federal, Government & Military Experience:
Delivery of all contractual requirements as described in government/prime work order Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost and schedule control methodologies and tools Managing Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.) Strong understanding of DOD Government Contracts, Process and Program life cycle Experienced working with one or more arms of the Military (Navy, Army, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard and SpaceForce)RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the portfolio of work and projects align with the business benefits and success criteria of the scope(s) of work. Navigate client's organizational structure to identify impacts, stakeholders, and authorities. Define a clear and relevant governance structure based on stakeholder analysis, including defined roles and responsibilities. Oversee the execution of multiple service delivery models focused on continuous improvement and adapting to the changing landscape of the service industry. Facilitate and drive decision-making processes where and when appropriate. Work with leadership and technical leads to staff and resource the portfolio of work appropriately. Define a process for monitoring and managing program and technical issues; and adequate reporting and plans are in place to resolve issues and risks as they arise. Working closely with the assigned technical leads to build high-performance teams and a successful program. Maintain communication with program stakeholders based on the need to know and impact the program. Work well with both PMO and engineering resources to remove roadblocks and streamline processes. Track customer-specific program metrics and analyze delivery performance and key business performance indicators. Prepare and present program status and communication relevant to stakeholders, leadership, and external customers. Ensure efficiency with Client Project Management Methodology processes and tool expertise. Assemble and manage cross-organizational high-performance teams for high-complexity programs and projects, creating a collaborative environment and executing with a sense of urgency. Define effective Change Control methods and procedures and oversee the operational execution of the policies across project teams. Practice effective critical thinking skills with the fortitude to drive resolutions to a close. Manage all budgeting, forecasting, and financials to meet targets and expectations. Provide coaching and mentoring to Project Managers and other team members as needed to achieve optimal productivity and the highest quality of deliverables. Ensure the successful onboarding and offboarding of program resources. Function as the primary customer contact for program activities and lead program review sessions with the customer and/or leadership to address cost, schedule, and technical performance. Work with the sales organization to provide presales support and estimates for program delivery, resource requirements and level of effort, estimated durations and overall governance expectations.
