We are seeking a Strategic Remediation Validation Testing Operations and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our newly established Strategic Remediation Validation Testing function within the Global Strategic Remediation Oversight and Governance (SROG) team of the Global Regulatory Affairs Office. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Strategic Remediation Validation Testing.
In this role, among other activities, you will collaborate closely with the Strategic Remediation Validation Testing management team and broader Global Regulatory Affairs Office to enhance and maintain procedures, templates, and supporting stakeholder materials; develop and maintain the testing schedule and staff allocations; contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the QC testing tool; and design and execute a quality assurance approach to ensure consistent application of the Remediation QC Validation Testing methodology.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Contribute to the design and build of the strategic remediation quality control validation methodology and processes, including creation of process documentation, roll out to stakeholders and team. Establish and execute a quality assurance approach to ensure that all QC testing is conducted in accordance with these standards and that any deviations are promptly addressed. In collaboration with the Head of Strategic Remediation Validation Testing, help drive operating model changes which promote greater testing effectiveness, including determining ongoing control testing needs for all control testing requirements Develop and maintain an integrated testing calendar that outlines all planned testing activities Contribute to the development, implementation, and oversee the maintenance of our QC testing platform and tools. Ensure that all tools are functioning properly and that any issues are promptly addressed Working with the Strategic Remediation Validation Testing team, create a training plan to develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all team members are fully aware of new or updated standards and procedures. Prepare and distribute reports on test results, issues, and other relevant information. Ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of our risk management activities and potential impacts to risk profile of the firm. Establish and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholdersDemonstrate strong initiative, project management, people skills, sound decision-making, intuitive thinking, and sensitivity to cultural diversityThe successful candidate will benefit from having:
A college or university degree13+ yrs. experience in financial services, with several years of direct experience or knowledge of auditing in the financial services industry, with strong experience related to risk culture, risk management, and compliance, or similar consultancy experience in the financial services industrySuperior analytical and organizational skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to multitask and prove flexibility to change plans at short noticeAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms, with all levels of staff and management Experience in designing and delivering high quality, high value internal testing programs for large businesses or regulated environmentsWorking with Us:
