Strategic Sales Analyst Intern – Summer 2025

The Finance Intern will work with the Analytics team on a variety of specific projects and areas as noted below. This position will report directly to the Director of Business Intelligence, WLR but will have exposure to the wider business teams. Interns will complete a capstone type project over the summer culminating in a presentation to business leadership.

Key Projects:

You will have the opportunity to work with our customer POS data to analyze and build selling reports and dashboards.This position has the ability to influence the marketplace by making strategic recommendations that include/but are not limited to item assortment, product placement, promotions and displays.Develop specific projects/reports to support WLR sales goals at Retailers.Develop fact-based analysis of customer business trends utilizing a variety of data sources.Special projects at the direction of supervisor. Analyze sales information regarding key category programs & promotions. 

 Required Education and Experience:

Pursuing an undergraduate (or Graduate) degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Mathematics, or related fieldRising seniorDemonstrated leadership & academic achievement in student & extracurricular activitiesAdaptability & ability to work independentlyAbility to comply with deadlinesEnergy & passion for winningStrong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skillsExcellent organizational skillsEffective planning & organizing skillsStrong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Applications skillsNo previous experience required

Certain peak periods may provide opportunity for overtime. This is a paid position. The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August. Exact dates flexible based on school schedules.
