Job Description:

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst acts as an internal consultant collaborating with assigned internal business units to source and recommend the best solution for materials, equipment, supplies, and/or services. With oversight and guidance from the Strategic Sourcing Manager, the Analyst manages the entire Strategic Sourcing Process from Initiation to contract execution. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

Carries out end-to-end sourcing lifecycle activitiesProvides analytical data and information to support procurement initiativesPerforms market research to identify potential suppliersProvides analytics to aid in contract negotiationsAssists in contract negotiationsMakes recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from 4-year College or University1-2 years’ experience in a related field preferredExperience in a project management environment – preferably working with large projects (spend, complexity, and/or duration) collaborating with cross functional teamsInvolvement in reviewing, managing, and interpreting large and/or complex data setsExposure to handling multiple concurrent projectsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Project or PowerBIProven success building impactful relationships with current and potential business partners both internally and externally
